Privacy Policy

Kya Banao is a free Telegram bot that sends daily Indian meal suggestions. We try to collect as little data as possible.

What we collect

• Your Telegram chat ID and first name (needed to send you messages)
• Your Telegram username (if available)
• The timestamp when you joined

What we do NOT collect

• Phone number
• Email address
• Location
• Contacts
• Anything you type into Telegram outside of bot commands

How we use it

Only to deliver dish suggestions to your Telegram chat. We don't sell, share, or use your data for ads.

Where it's stored

In a private Google Sheet, accessible only to the bot owner. No third-party analytics on the bot itself (the website uses Plausible — privacy-friendly, no cookies).

How to delete your data

Block the bot in Telegram. We'll stop sending messages immediately. To request full deletion of your record, message us via the bot or email hello@kyabanao.app.

Changes to this policy

If we ever change anything, we'll update this page and message users on the bot.
